Meet this cutie named Ferngully! You can not help but smile when you look at this adorable girl with big ears! She arrived at CCHS on July 25, xxxx after being picked up in Newport. She is a happy girl with so much joy and love to share! Just needs a person or family to give her the chance. We guess that she is around 1.5 years old and she is current on her vaccinations. She loves to be held and loved on by her human friends! She thinks she's a lap dog. Also Ferngully seems to get along well with most other dogs that she has met at the shelter. Since she is still considered to be a puppy she will need a home that has time, love, patience, and can provide some consistent training so that she can mature into a wonderful adult dog. Come to the shelter and visit with Ferngully and give her a chance at a fabulous life she deserves in a loving FOREVER home. Since she is a pitty girl you will need to speak with the manager and get an application on her. Once approved she is all yours. We love all of our dogs and want to place our bully babies in homes best suited for them. Did a DNA test on this cutie and she came back 80% bulldog and 20% pitty girl. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4 during the spring and summer and from 10-2 during the fall and winter months on Saturday. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life.
