Meet Mugsy! This sweet boy arrived at the shelter on August 26, xxxx because his owner said he had separation anxiety. Mugsy was adopted from the shelter as a puppy and has been in a couple different homes. He is a sweet and loving boy who wants to be in a home where he gets regular exercise and attention. He is only 8 months old and wants someone to give him a chance at the loving forever home he misses. He is fully vetted, house broken and good with children too. Likes to play with most other dogs as well. Remember, he is still considered a puppy and will need someone that has the time, patience and dedication to regular training. With that he will thrive and mature into a wonderful adult dog that will make a person or family very happy. Come to the shelter and visit with this charming fella and give him a wonderful life he deserves and needs...a FOREVER home. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-5 during the spring and summer and from 10-2 during the fall and winter months on Saturday. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life.
