American Staffordshire Terrier - Bentley - Large - Adult - Male
Bentley is a really sweet guy! He is about 2 years old and was brought to the shelter by his family who felt they did not have enough time to devote to him. He is good with kids and other dogs. He walks great on a leash and LOVES to be scratched behind his ears. He seems to get along well with other dogs and loves to run and play in the long runner in the back of the shelter. He will sit very quickly when asked so he seems to be a smart boy! He potties as soon as he is taken out of his runner so he is most likely already housebroken or would be very easy to train. He is up to date on his vaccinations and is receiving flea and tick prevention while at the shelter as well as heartworm preventatives. Also Bentlley is now neutered and ready for his FOREVER home. Please come by the shelter and meet him. You will love him. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-2, and on Sunday during the spring and summer from 11-3. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can't adopt then come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these homeless pet awaiting their FOREVER home. In order to adopt Bentley there is special paper work that will need to be gathered and completed prior to being approved to adopt him. We love all of our dogs and want to place our "bully breeds" in the best homes suited for them.
