American Staffordshire Terrier - Cadence (been Here 4 Mos!!)
Cadence?s owner was deployed and he had to turn in this gorgeous girl! She is absolutely beautiful inside and out!! This 18 month old Am Staff/ Lab mix is good with kids and dogs according to his former owner. Yes she is GREAT with other dogs check out her video of her playing with Audio. They are BEST FRIENDS. She is an amazing girl with so much love to give. Her coat glistens black/brown?almost a mahogany color. She is housebroken and walks great on a leash. She scared at the shelter but once you get her out and she sees you care she is great. Be patient and give her a little time and she will love you FOREVER. She is a love of a girl and once she trust you and feels safe she will give you very sweet Cadence kisses. She may take some time for her to adjust to a new home but with TLC and patience I know she will make someone a wonderful pet. It is very hard on the animals that are use to being in a home environment to go to a shelter where there are new people, smells, other dogs and animals, and nothing familiar. Open up your heart and home to this sweet girl and give her an amazing life in a loving FOREVER home. Since she is a "bully breed" mix you must speak with the manager and get all the paper work that will need to be completed prior to being able to adopt her. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure our "bullies" go to homes best suited for them.
Please remember that ownership of a pet means you are their primary caregiver. It is an extra expense...vet bills, preventatives, and food. But they are sure worth it! Be sure you are 100% committed to having a new family member?and that is what they should be, a family member. Our normal hours are M-F: 10-1, 2-5 and Sat 10-2 and during the summer on Sundays from 11-3.
