American Staffordshire Terrier - Rebel (been Here 3 Mos!)
Rebel was turned in by animal control. He is a lover and he is a pitty mix. As you know there is extra paperwork to adopt a bully breed. We want to make sure they are going to the best homes for them. As you can see he likes the water and he walks pretty well on a leash and he LOVES spending time with his human companions. He will lather you with tons of kisses if you give him the chance to.
He has gorgeous markings and has so much zest for life. Loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and can catch a frezbie in mid air. Just a amazing fella. You just have to come in and visit him!
Rebel is already neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He has been started on the slow kill method of killing the heart worms he has. Typically within a two year period his test can show heart worm negative.
Please remember that ownership of a pet means you are their primary caregiver. It is an extra expense...vet bills, preventatives, and food. But they are sure worth it! 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated so PLEASE make sure to keep your pets on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. Be sure you are 100% committed to having a new family member?and that is what they should be, a family member. Our normal hours are M-F: 10-1, 2-5 and Sat 10-2 and during the summer on Sundays from 11-3.
