Meet Maxie!!! She was brought into the shelter Nov. 10, xxxx by her owners who could no longer afford to keep her. She is 1 year old and just a true "black beauty"...look at that sweet face...melts you soul! Owning a pet can be expensive with they proper yearly vetting, monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventative, good food, toys, training and grooming in needed. Please be aware and prepared for your new family member before you adopt. They are so worth every minute and penny you invest with them. Maxie walks great on the leash and is just a happy girl 24/7. She has so much joy and love to share if only she had a loving family to share that with. She loves to run and play and would love a home with a fenced in yard to play in. She gets along well with other dogs too (submissive dogs are what Maxie prefers...she is a little alpha. Check out the video of her playing with Lilly and Adalay!! All three are GREAT dogs!! Come to the shelter and spend some quality time with her and open up your heart and home to Maxie...she will make a person or family a wonderful pet if given a fair chance. 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated so PLEASE make sure to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention.
