Meet Marshmellow and her brother Casper! They are just the sweetest and most loving pups!! Not to mention BEAUTIFUL!! They came into the shelter on Oct. 23, xxxx by their owner who could no longer afford to keep them. They are 6 months old and will grow to be about double their size. Know that dogs are considered to be pups until they are around 2 years old and that pups are great but require a lot of time, patience, and consistent training on your part as the new owner. For every minute you invest with your pets the more well behaved they will be for you and everyone they meet. Marshmellow and her brother have so much love and joy to share with a family or person that is deserving of them. Come to the shelter and visit with Marshmellow and give her a chance at a wonderful life that she deserves. There is special paper work that will need to be completed and approved by the shelter manager in order to adopt Marshmellow. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure our "bully breeds" go to homes best suited for them. Owning a pet is an extra responsibility as well as an extra expense with the proper yearly vetting, monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, good food, toys, training and grooming if needed. Please make sure you are aware and prepared for the lifetime commitment before you adopt. These animals are counting on you as their owner so don't let them down. Also know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated so make sure to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once amonth heart worm and flea/tick prevention. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, and on Sat. 10-2. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life! If you can not adopt then come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.
