Meet KW and his sister Sqeak! They were brought into the shelter late Oct. as a result of having too many dogs. They were a part of a hoarding case and now are here awaiting their chance at a wonderful life where they can be cared for and loved without having to be shared with so many other pets. These two dogs are so beautiful and loving. From the outside of their run KW seems to appear like he is not very friendly but he is. He like so many dogs do not like being caged up with very little area to move around in. He walks great on the leash and loves to jump up and give you kisses. Both KW and Sqeak are around 6 years old and have a mellow and gentle disposition. They came from a home with other dogs and cats too so they would eb fine in multi animal home. Come to the shelter and visit with KW and Sqeak and give them a chance at a great life that they deserve and need. Owning a pet is an extra responsibility as well as an extra expense with the proper yearly vetting, monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, good food, toys, training and grooming if needed. Please make sure you are aware and prepared for the lifetime commitment before you adopt. These animals are counting on you as their owner so don't let them down. Also know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated so make sure to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once amonth heart worm and flea/tick prevention. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, and on Sat. 10-2. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life! If you can not adopt then come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.
