Aren't these two beautiful! Sqeak and her brother KW were brought into the shelter late Oct. as a result of having too many dog. They were a part of a hoarding case and now are here awaiting their chance at a great home where they can have 1 on 1 attention and love. Sqeak and her brother are very sweet and gentle natured. She and her brother walk well on the leash and enjoy spending time with their human friends. They are just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. We guess that they are around 6 years old and were in a home with cats and other dogs so they would do fine in a multi animal home. Come out to the shelter and visit with Sqeak and KW and give them a chance at a great life that they deserve and need. (Right now they are in the red building because of the lack of space in the other buildings.) Owning a pet is an extra responsibility as well as an extra expense with the proper yearly vetting, monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, good food, toys, training and grooming if needed. Please make sure you are aware and prepared for the lifetime commitment before you adopt. These animals are counting on you as their owner so don't let them down. Also know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated so make sure to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once amonth heart worm and flea/tick prevention. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, and on Sat. 10-2. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life! If you can not adopt then come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home.
