Dakota was surrendered to the shelter early June by his owner. They said he had too much energy and did not have the time for him that he deserved. He is 2 years old and great with children. Now in foster care..yeah! Loves to play fetch with a ball and is a complete joy to be around. Dakota can sit on command for a treat and is a amazing fella. He was VERY scared when he first got to the shelter and is growing leaps and bounds with each and every day. Dakota visits another dog foster home once a week where he interacts with two small dogs as well as another larger neutered male and a CAT! He does great with all of them! Has been to the beach and is very interested in the water! Dakota is a great car rider-enjoys sticking his head out for a few minutes and then falls asleep! Supersweet boy who deserves his forever home. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-2 and in the spring and summer on Sunday from 11-3. Adopt a pet and save a life!!
