Labrador Retriever - Heavy (foster Care Been Here 1 Year..why?)
HEAVY and his sister were brought into the shelter on Oct. 6, xxxx by their owner when they were 6 mos old and behaved liked puppies! They did not have the time to spend training them that they needed. That is how they ended up at the shelter! They have been at CCHS/foster care for 1 year, so now they are over a year old. They are good with other dogs, children, and can be ok cats...may take them some time to adjust ! Both love to go ride in the car and are just a joy to be around!!! Dixie has such a beautiful coat at is a mix of brown, golden, and black. Heavy's coat is more sleek and tan...very handsome fella too! Both are very loving and love to lather you with kisses when given a chance!! THEY NEED EXERICISE!!! They are still puppies...someone adopted them and they were returned because they did not have a fenced in yard and it was hard getting them enough exercise. A fenced in yard is a MUST with these two Also please make sure to keep your pets on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. SPECIAL ADOPTION FEE TO ADOPT BOTH...$35 each dog!!!! The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-2 and in the spring and summer on Sunday from 11-3. Adopt a pet and save a life!!!!!. You can visit Dixie and Heavy at Beach Paws Kennel in MHC.
